Friday saw Dragon Music Ambassador Motoe Haus playing at DECO, a new warehouse music experience in the heart of Los Angeles. With an incredible EAW banging sound system accompanied by some of the best DJs from Los Angeles spinning the most exceptional quality techno and house music from the depths of clubland.
The 8-hour adventure ran from 11 pm to 7 am on Friday on 5thJuly and featured a line-up of legendary proportions with Motoe being joined by the irrepressible DMorse, Donald Glaude, Frida Henson, Liquorbox, King Felix, and LOU E. BAGELS.
Motoe Haus found out recently that he is to feature in the book '1 Habit' written by Steve Samblis, creator of the bestseller 'Chicken Soup for the Soul’ saying: “I am absolutely honoured to be included in this phenomenal book and want to send a massive thank you to Steve Samblis for considering my contribution for this iconic publication.”
And to round off another extremely busy week, he performed on Sunday for the second part of the Vorhal Sunday Brunch fundraiser at the superb Caffe Roma, again raising funds for St Jude Children's' Research Hospital which was also live-streamed on Ibiza Live Radio.
It's an excellent time for Dragon to be involved in bringing Blockchain Innovation into the music industry who are starting to appreciate the benefits that can come from integrating it into their own ecosystems.
For example, the robust cryptography built into the blockchain could have secured Radiohead’s unreleased music, which they had to publicly release after it was stolen. And, with the ability to store metadata about ownership and royalties transparently on each block, artists and collaborators can be paid fairly and timely as soon as music is purchased.
