Additionally, Sands China has marked the successful completion of its seventh annual Responsible Gaming Ambassador Advanced Training program by certifying another 122 of its employees. Since 2013 over 600 employees have been certified as Responsible Gaming Ambassadors by attending their intensive two-day course. The trainees learned to identify signs of a problem and irresponsible gambling and help patrons who tend to demonstrate those signs, as well as being taught how to intervene and manage crises in real-time situations.

Paul Moynan, Dragon CEO said, “as well as providing some of the finest gaming and leisure facilities in the world, innovative training course such as these – which lead industry standards, once again demonstrates Sands China’s commitment to supporting the development of their staff in preparation for fantastic lifelong careers in the casino industry.”

The company’s commitment to improving gamers' experiences extends to the establishment of a new department which houses a hugely successful responsible gaming team, from which you can expect other venues to follow suit rapidly to model their teams around this structure.
