Suzanne Barton is one of the many award-winning and inspirational artists who exhibit their work on the Dragon Art website. Art Palm Beach is a leading international modern and contemporary art fair, held in West Palm Beach and exhibits the works of international artists, ranging from "the most promising emerging talent" to masters.
Art work exhibited includes photography, painting, design, fine art glass, sculpture, and video and Art Palm Beach is the largest fair of its kind in the Palm Beaches in terms of attendance, square footage, and total sales conducted by its exhibitors.
Suzanne has been selected to be a featured artist at the prestigious event, and just one visit to her page shows why this comes as no surprise. Suzanne’s Underwater Fine Art is sensuous, flowing and ethereal. Based in the USA in Fort Lauderdale, FL, her art graces galleries in Key West, Miami, and Clearwater (Florida), Charleston, (South Carolina), and Laguna Beach (California).
The event on 16th to 20th January attracts a wide international crowd and in its 22nd year it is organized by IFAE/Next Level fair founders David and Lee Ann Lester, the original founders of Art Miami, Art Asia Hong Kong, American International Fine Art Fair, and Art Boca Raton.
Suzanne turned a childhood passion to professional status in 1985, and has won the kudos of her peers in addition to winning an impressive number of awards including a first place award from Canon, HP books, and has an award winning image hanging in the National Little League Museum in Williamsport.
Suzanne says, ‘Water is vital to life as we know it-without it, no life exists. It supports us in the womb, it energizes, purifies and cleanses. It symbolizes life, clarity, growth, illumination and transformation. I celebrate IT'S beauty as a gentle reminder to all, that WE are the caretakers of this precious life force.’ Suzanne’s dedication to capturing the beauty and power of water lead to the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines commissioning a permanent collection aboard the “Harmony of the Seas”, which is celebrated internationally in over 250 parts of call.
To date Suzanne’s work has been exhibited in 23 exhibitions (6 solo) including Art Basal/Miami, has been published 13 times, and has garnered 5 awards.
The "Tiny Dancer" Series began as a fascination to experience underwater photography and is now being committed to Aluminium by Archival Dye-Sublimation then hand adorned with reflective materials and resin to bring the pieces spectacularly to life.
Suzanne shares her time and talents with many charities including the fight against cancer, along with children, animal and family charities which are near and dear to her heart.
